LGBTQ Support Focused Therapist Position

Looking to join a dynamic private practice to build your skills in working with clients who are part of the LGBTQ+ community? We are seeking a Pennsylvania licensed therapist or pre-licensed clinician to join our dynamic team of gender-affirming specialists at Bucks LGBTQ Center.
Are you a provider that specializes in working with exploring LGBTQ+ identities, navigating gender dysphoria, or supporting families of LGBTQ+ community members? Do you provide care from a trauma-informed lens, and understand how minority stressors impact those of gender and sexually diverse identities? Our practice is committed to an all-paths-to-healing approach, meeting clients where they are in their recovery journeys. We work with those seeking support around coming out and identity exploration, as well as those who are LGBTQ+ and seeking therapy for topics unrelated to their identity. We work within a team that includes different perspectives and modalities.

Bucks LGBTQ Center is affirming of all bodies, identities, and ability statuses. We are a teaching practice that offers supervision and consultation opportunities from mentors that are well respected in the Philadelphia area and who have spoken nationally and internationally about working with the LGBTQ+ community. We have two offices located in Bucks County, PA (Newtown and Buckingham). We also provide virtual therapy to clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Preference will be given to those with lived experiences as members of marginalized group, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community and/or experience working with trauma, and those interested in adolescent and family work. We welcome applications from newer clinicians seeking practice-building skills
Requirements include Pennsylvania licensed therapist or Master’s or Doctoral graduate seeking licensure (we can also support those working towards New Jersey licensure). We ask for an initial commitment of at least 6 clients per week, with preference given to those who would like to build their caseloads. While providers are supported in setting fair compensation rates, they have autonomy over fees and working hours.
We have two offices located in Bucks County, PA (Newtown and Buckingham). We also provide virtual therapy to clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
