Stephanie Rothrock, LPC, has been practicing in the mental health field for over 25 years. She has worked with individuals, couples and families in various settings including clinical spaces and within the public school system.
In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, Stephanie is a Clinical Certified Trauma Professional and a Certified Addictions-Informed Mental Health Professional. Stephanie has extensive experience working with eating disorders including several years working as a clinician at ERTC (Eating Recovery Treatment Centers). She is HAES informed (Health at Every Size) and gender affirming, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for all her clients.
Stephanie’s other areas of interest and expertise include anxiety disorders, stress management, mood disorders, childhood disorders, and working with clients on the Autism spectrum. With decades of experience as a school counselor, Stephanie specializes in working with children on self-regulation techniques using the Zones of Regulation, the 5-point scale and mindfulness techniques.
Stephanie has been trained to teach yoga and mindfulness-based activities for children and also practices yoga regularly. She is a competitive long-distance runner and understands the mindset that is necessary to be a competitive athlete. She also enjoys working with athletes with performance anxiety. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
